The PLUS Loan is for parents who wish to borrow on behalf of dependent undergraduate students. The student must be enrolled at least half time.

The parent borrower must be able to show the ability to repay the loan.

Repayment begins within 60 days after the loan is fully disbursed, while the student is still enrolled.
