WSECU is reaching out to your community to help prevent identity theft. According to the FBI, more than 10 million Americans have been victims of identity theft crimes. Don’t be next! 

Securely shred your personal documents and information with help from your credit union. "Shred It & Forget It" at WSECU’s Shred Day events. 

Bring up to three (3) boxes of papers you want to shred and take advantage of this secure way to get rid of confidential information. There will be giveaways, refreshments and you can also enter to win* a $100 Visa® Gift Card or a personal shredder.

Please help your credit union support some important charitable causes at these events. For the Medical Lake and Spokane East events, donations of non-perishable food items will be collected and donated to local food banks. In Olympia, donations of household cleaning and personal hygiene products will be collected for the YWCA’s "Other Bank." Our neighbors need our help!

*Visa Gift card valued at $100. Personal shredder valued at $75. For the Medical Lake Shred Day event entry must be received on July 11, 2009, between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Drawings will take place immediately following the event on July 11, 2009. For the Spokane East Shred Day event entry must be received on July 25, 2009, between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Drawings will take place immediately following the event on July 25, 2009. For the Olympia Shred Day event entry must be received on July 25, 2009, between the hours of 10:00 am and 1:00 pm.
