Checking Account Options

Direct Deposit

You can have your monthly earnings automatically deposited to your WSECU account. No waiting in a payday line, mailing an envelope or losing a check.

To get started, simply pick up a Direct Deposit form at your employer’s payroll or pension office, or contact our Call Center at 800.562.0999, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To get signed up for Direct Deposit your payroll office will need WSECU’s ABA routing and transit number. For your reference that number is 325181028.

Payroll Deduction

With payroll deduction, you can automatically deposit part of your paycheck into your savings account. Or, automatically make payments to your WSECU loans.

It’s an easy way to say goodbye to missed payments and late fee charges. Payroll deduction cards can be obtained by contacting our Call Center at 800.562.0999, weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Debit Card

Our free debit card simplifies your financial activities into just one card.

Use it as an ATM card to get cash or access your accounts from any machine bearing a Visa, Exchange, Accel or Plus logo.

Use it as a debit card for point-of-sale machine services. Or, use the debit card instead of writing a check in stores, hotels and restaurants where Visa is accepted. Simply present your card, sign the receipt and the transaction is automatically deducted from your checking account.

To get your WSECU debit card simply stop by your local branch or contact our Call Center at 800-562-0999 weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Overdraft Options

Three helpful options keep you covered should you experience an overdraft:

Savings Transfer - Automatically withdraws the necessary funds from your savings account(s) if available. A small $5 fee applies to each overdraft protection transfer.

Personal Line-Of-Credit - A line of credit advance can be activated prior to accessing overdraft protection. Although you incur interest after the advance there are no fees for this service and you only pay interest on the outstanding balance.

Overdraft Privilege* - A discretionary program designed to save you money and keep your good credit history intact. Overdraft Privilege-now available on most checking accounts-covers outstanding checks, electronic debits, Return Deposit Items, ATM and debit card transactions up to your established limit, all for a minimal fee per transaction and no monthly service charges.

*Checking account must be in good standing for 30 days. Payment of any overdraft will continue at the discretion of the credit union. ODP will be revoked if accounts are not brought current at least once every 35 days. All fees associated with payment of overdraft items are applied to the available Overdraft Privilege limit. Organizational/Business Accounts, Minor Accounts and accounts involved in legal action such as garnishments or bankruptcies are excluded from this service. Money Mover accounts have a $500 limit. Money Mover II and Interest Checking accounts have a $1,000 limit. Certain accounts are not eligible for ODP.
