One of our most important goals is meeting - and exceeding - your expectations. Based on the input we receive from our members, we succeed the majority of the time, but there are times when we fail. Making Android Pay and Samsung Pay available to you is one of those times.
Many of you have voiced frustration with the continued delays and rightly so. We've published several dates and timeframes that we haven't met. While we believed they were achievable when we announced them, that wasn't the case. And we're sorry we let you down.
There is a mandate from Visa along with an enhancement to cardholder data files that we need to complete before we can offer Android Pay and Samsung Pay. The resources required to make this happen are dedicated to two major digital projects that we are currently working on. This, along with other projects and routine tasks to keep daily operations up and running, has resulted in missed deadlines.
We've put projected dates out there once too often. This time, we won't announce the new date until we know for certain when the tasks will be completed. Once we're there, we'll publish the availability date. Once again, we apologize for the ongoing delay of offering these services. Please let us know if you have any questions.
