WSECU is proud to announce a major partnership with the Hands On Children's Museum (HOCM) in Olympia for the museum's new Inspired Learning for All initiative. The partnership is an exciting launch to our 60th anniversary celebration.

The five-year naming sponsorship will allow the museum to build on its success of turning play into learning for the youngest residents of Washington and to expand programming. It will also increase access for more families to experience all the museum offers, regardless of income. As part of the Inspired Learning for All initiative, families that receive state basic food aid with an EBT card will receive free museum entry. WSECU's support will also help the museum offer additional fieldtrips for underserved students and make other programming enhancements possible.

As WSECU members, you will receive exclusive benefits from this special partnership. The first Wednesday of each month will be "WSECU Wednesday" at HOCM. Present your WSECU debit or credit card at the time of entry and you will receive 50 percent off admission. We'll keep you posted when these dates are coming so you can plan your visit. Our first WSECU Wednesday will be March 1. In addition, WSECU members will receive 10 percent off a museum membership purchase, and there will be some special WSECU-only after-hours events. WSECU's support for education extends from pre-K through college with a network of shared value partnerships. There is no better investment we can make to help individuals and communities thrive.

A naming initiative is new to us. HOCM has established itself as the region's premiere early learning (and fun!) destination, serving 300,000 visitors a year from all over Washington State. WSECU seeks partners with a reputation for excellence and HOCM is a best-in-class organization. The museum's and WSECU's values align since both organizations are laying the groundwork today to help people have a successful tomorrow.

All of us at WSECU are thrilled to help this community treasure sustain and grow in the coming years - and to offer you a chance to get in on the fun at a reduced rate.

So gather up your little WSECU members and add a trip to the museum on the first Wednesdays of the month to enjoy this new member benefit.
