Harry Zhu believes great organizations are built around people. Throughout his career in the credit union industry, he has been guided by a simple idea: When you listen, learn and act on what you hear, everyone benefits.

Before joining WSECU, Harry served as CEO of USAlliance Federal Credit Union in Rye, NY. Having worked across technology, security, engineering and executive leadership over the years, Harry has seen organizations from multiple vantage points, shaping his approach to innovation, growth and service.

What initially drew Harry to credit unions is what continues to inspire his leadership today: the opportunity to combine business success with meaningful impact. For him, growth isn't an end in itself. It's a way to expand access, deepen member relationships and create lasting value in the communities WSECU serves. Harry often describes WSECU as a decades-strong organization with a startup mindset: innovative, agile and always looking for new ways to meet members' evolving needs.

As he visits branches and connects with employees and members across Washington, Harry consistently focuses on what makes WSECU special and how the team can build on the strengths that have guided the credit union since 1957.

Workplace culture matters just as much to Harry. Under his leadership, his previous organization earned multiple workplace awards and Great Place to Work certifications. He believes exceptional member experiences begin with employees who feel supported, engaged and empowered to make a difference.

By combining a spirit of innovation with a longstanding commitment to service, Harry is helping ensure the credit union continues to grow while staying true to the values that have always set it apart. Those values trace back to founder Ed Montermini's belief that people deserve better from their financial institution, an idea that continues to guide WSECU today.
