FAQs
Early Direct Deposit is a benefit of WSECU checking and savings accounts that allows you to access direct deposit funds up to two days earlier than the scheduled deposit date.*
There’s no action needed on your part. Any funds you receive via direct deposit will automatically be deposited up to two days earlier.*
Direct deposit can be set up through an employer or other payer, such as Social Security or other government benefits. In order to set up your direct deposit, you’ll need to provide your account number and the WSECU routing number. Your employer or payer may also ask for a cancelled check from your checking account. To find your account number, sign in to Online Banking and click on the Profile link found under the Profile & Settings tab. WSECU’s routing number is 325181028.
If your employer doesn’t offer direct deposit, consider asking them to set it up.
If you see a direct deposit pending in your account, the funds should be available the next business day. You can set up account alerts to receive a notification when your check has been deposited. Alerts can be set up through the Profile & Settings tab in Online Banking.
WSECU provides access to funds when we receive notification of an impending deposit.* This is typically up to two days before the scheduled payment date, but it may be later. In these cases, your direct deposit may not be available early.
This means WSECU hasn’t received the funds. We suggest reaching out to your payroll department.
