WSECU hires Judith Henderson as VP of IT
Feb. 1, 2021 (Olympia, Wash.) - WSECU announced today that Judith Henderson has been hired as Vice President of Information Technology. In the role, she will oversee digital infrastructure, digital development and IT solutions.
Henderson comes to the role with 37 years of experience in financial services, the last 11 of which in senior technology executive roles. Most recently, she worked as the Head of Enterprise Operations and Information Technology for Farmers Life Insurance. Additionally, she was recently a finalist for the Seattle Enterprise CIO of the year.
“It’s rewarding to leverage technology and make things easier for our members.” Henderson said. “We’ll be continually refining and implementing systems to improve our members’ financial lives.”
The newly-appointed VP will lead her team at a time when technology is the keystone for a world of virtual work.
“I get a lot of satisfaction from helping my teams achieve their goals in conjunction with the needs of the business.” Henderson said. “I’m passionate about building high-performance teams for organizations that make a difference in people’s lives.”
Henderson has a bachelor’s degree in management from Our Lady of the Lake University. She is certified as a SAFe Agilist and Project Management Professional.
