Save paper and get account statements and notices faster!
Beginning Sept. 30, 2025, paper statements and notices are going digital, and there will be a $3 monthly fee to continue receiving paper communications by mail. To avoid these fees, opt in to free, paperless communications. Simply sign in to — or sign up for — Online Banking and opt in to eStatements by selecting “Manage eStatements” under Statements & Documents.

FAQ
Paper communications include statements and notices printed on paper that are delivered through the US Postal Service.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader or another PDF-viewing software to open your eStatements and eNotices. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available for free download at adobe.com.
To protect your information, we do not email notices. We will email to notify you when a new eStatement or eNotice is ready to view in Online Banking. You can opt in to eStatements in Online Banking by selecting “Manage eStatements” under Statements & Documents.
Yes. If you are the primary account holder and under 18 years of age, the paper communications fee will not apply. In addition, if you are opted in to eConsent and receive your account notices and statements electronically through Online or Mobile Banking, the paper communications fee will not apply.
If you are not opted in to eConsent — or have opted in to eConsent and elected to receive paper notices or statements — the monthly or quarterly paper communications fee will be assessed.
If you have a checking account, the $3 monthly fee will be charged to your checking account. If you don’t have a checking account, the fee will be charged to the primary regular savings share (Share 01) each month or quarter.
The paper communications fee will be charged on the last day of the month/quarter.
Yes. If the paper communications fee will cause an unreasonable impediment to accessing your account for the following reasons, you may request a permanent waiver.
- Visually impaired
- Technology challenges and/or no access to a computer or cell phone to receive notices electronically
- Prime or Joint Account holder is 60 years or older
Other reasons will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you would like to receive paperless statements and notices and you are not enrolled in Online Banking, simply visit wsecu.org and select “Sign in” to enroll.
WSECU offers secure delivery of notices and statements electronically through Online Banking at no charge. The monthly Paper Communications Delivery Fee is being implemented and charged to members and accounts that continue receiving paper notices and statements by mail. The fee helps offset postage costs and ensures that members who opt for eStatements are not subsidizing the expense.
