Special Account Offering types
In addition to our personal and business account offerings, WSECU offers other account types to our members with special circumstances or financial needs.
Youth Accounts
- Minor accounts are available for members up to 18 years of age and may have products and services beyond a savings account with a responsible adult as a joint owner.
- Uniform Transfer to Minor Accounts (UTTMA) enable a custodian to take care of funds for a minor (up to age 21), and later transfer the account to the minor. Until that point, the custodian has sole access to the account.
Trust Accounts
We offer accounts for revocable living trusts and irrevocable living trusts. To open either type of trust account, the trustor(s) must be members of the credit union with established accounts. We also need a certification of the Trust Agreement signed by all trustees.
Before opening a trust account, please consult a legal advisor to determine the type of trust that suits your needs and to obtain any legal documentation needed.
Representative Payee Accounts
These accounts are designed for individuals who have had a representative payee designated to manage benefits they receive from Social Security (SSA) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). The representative payee performs all actions on these accounts for the benefit of the account owner.
Organizational Accounts
These accounts are designed with groups, associations and organizations in mind. With an organizational account, your group will have access to numerous products and services like Online Banking with free Bill Pay and Shared Branching.
