How to list WSECU on your insurance policy

How to list WSECU correctly on your insurance policy

When you have a real estate-secured or auto loan with WSECU, your insurance policy requires that we are properly listed as your lender to protect both you and WSECU in case of a claim. It also means we’ll be notified of any changes to your policy and may receive claim payments related to the property or auto.

It’s a standard part of insurance when you have a mortgage, auto, home equity or commercial real estate loan. Think of it as a formal way to say, “This lender has a financial interest in this home or auto.”

Disclosures

* Should you fail to maintain the required insurance throughout the life of the loan, WSECU may (but shall not be required to and without prejudice to its rights if it does not) purchase a policy for its own protection and pass the cost of the policy on to you, the borrower. WSECU may, but it is not required to, attempt to contact you prior to purchasing the insurance. WSECU may at its option, add the premium to your loan. This may cause an increase to your regular payments.
