CO-OP Shared Branch

WSECU is part of the CO-OP Shared Branch network, giving you account access at over 5,000 locations nationwide as well as several foreign countries. Below is a list of services and transactions available:

  • Deposits and withdrawals
  • Transfers
  • Loan payments
  • Balance inquiries
  • Money orders

Guest members, please note that shared branching services are only available in the lobby and not at our drive-thru windows. Please come into a branch for all shared branch transactions.

When visiting a shared branch, please have the following:

  • The name of your credit union
  • Your credit union account number
  • Valid, unexpired ID with a photo and signature

You may be asked to verify the name on the account, your date of birth and the last four digits of your Social Security number.

If any of the information requested or valid ID is not provided, the hosting credit union will not be able to assist you. This is for members' protection and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

To find a shared branch near you use our Locations page or for more advanced search options (including international) use CO-OP's location search. You can also call 888.SITE.COOP (888.748.3266).

New ID requirements for out-of-state transactions

Starting May 1, 2025, a more robust identity verification process is required to prevent account fraud and adhere to new CO-OP Shared Branch network policy for out-of-state transactions in shared branches.

To verify your identity for out-of-state shared branches, you’ll need:

  • The ability to take and upload a photo of yourself
  • Your account number
  • The last four digits of your Social Security number
  • A government-issued ID (military IDs excluded)

Once your identity is verified, you’ll receive an access code to use in the branch. Your code will be active and available for 20 minutes.

Here’s how to get started: Use the QR code for initial verification on your mobile phone. Your information will be stored when you use the same device the next time you request an access code, making the process faster for future transactions.

If you are unable to verify your identity, your out-of-state transactions may be limited or denied.
